1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account and using Gen2Gen Legacy Cookbook ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Gen2Gen Legacy Cookbook is a private digital platform that allows you to preserve, organize, and pass down family recipes. The Service is not a social media platform and does not make your content publicly available without your explicit action.
3. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Your Content
You retain full ownership of all recipes, photos, stories, and other content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your designated beneficiaries.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others. You may not attempt to access other users' accounts or circumvent any security features of the Service.
6. Free and Paid Plans
The free plan allows up to 10 recipes and 500 MB of storage. Paid plans provide additional storage and unlimited recipes. Fees and plan details are described on the pricing page. Paid plans include a one-time fee plus an optional annual renewal.
7. Beneficiary Inheritance
Designating beneficiaries does not create a legal obligation. Beneficiary access is administered through the Service's inheritance feature and is subject to verification procedures. We are not responsible for disputes between parties regarding recipe ownership or inheritance rights.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is." We are not liable for any loss of data, indirect damages, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. We strongly encourage you to keep backup copies of your important recipes and content.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes by email.
